Margaret Cassidy Manship Artist Residency (MCM)
We are developing a residency for artists who self-identify as women and who are associated with institutions where Margaret Cassidy Manship had an affiliation. The residency is intended to offer a pause for a busy, more established artist or to help launch an emerging artist into the next phase of their career. Join us in continuing Margaret’s legacy by donating to this residency fund.
Walker Hancock Sculptor-in-Residence Program
Walker Hancock, FNSS (1901-1998), celebrated as a Monuments Man and creator of the Pennsylvania Railroad World War II Memorial and the portrait of W.E.B. Dubois at Harvard University’s Memorial Hall, Hancock was more than a colleague to Paul Manship, he was his Lanesville neighbor, in-law, and close friend. This residency is offered in partnership with the National Sculpture Society, which administers the application process and provides a stipend to selected artists.
Residency Named for Your Loved One
We invite you to create a residency in honor or in memory of someone special to you. By supporting and continuing your loved one’s legacy through an artist residency you ensure that their values and vision for a better world is kept alive and actively pursued by today’s artists.
Residency Targeted for a Particular Cause
Would you like to support artists who have devoted themselves to a specific inquiry, social justice focus, or the exploration of a singular medium? This is an opportunity for you to be a major patron of the arts and help create new, impactful work by today’s leading culture-makers. Partner will us to design a new residency model that will define our society for generations to come.

Dr. Kate Van Demark Fund

Alternative Ways To Contribute
The Manship Artists Residency accepts donations in many forms. We are grateful for the generous support of all of our patrons. Thank you for your interest in partnering with us to grow our impact.
