Community Collaborations

Manship Artists Residency has been actively engaged in working with community members and partnering with fellow nonprofits and businesses since its inception. In just over five years, Manship Artists Residency has partnered with over 30 local and regional organizations and institutions to create healthy and thriving communities on Cape Ann and beyond. In this way, we are able to enhance existing programs, as well as innovate with new initiatives that expand the role artists and cultural institutions contribute to the quality of life in our community.

Manship Artists Residency’s interests are current and forward thinking. We provide professional development for local art teachers and curriculum enrichment that has greatly elevated the students’ experience and their resulting artwork. Manship Artists Residency’s commitment to Cape Ann extends to all its members, and we are especially concerned about protecting habitats for native species with which we share the land. One of the core reasons the residency was founded was to protect and safeguard the natural environment, and to raise awareness through the power of art about actions community members can take to effect positive change.

Help us continue partnering with local organizations to provide community-focused residency programs.

To date, the Manship Artists Residency has collaborated with over 30 organizations and individuals to offer exciting and innovative public programs.
