Willie Loco Alexander Retrospective: Opening Reception

Opening Reception Saturday, October 19, 4-6 pm Continues through November 3, Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5 pm and by appointment Exhibition Curator, Susan Erony While local legend Willie “Loco” Alexander is known internationally as a musical pioneer, few have had the pleasure of experiencing his paintings and collages first-hand. Artwork by Willie from all stages of his career as an artist will be exhibited throughout the Manship Artists Residence. Read more about the exhibition in an article by Greg Cook. UPDATE: Willie’s exhibition was a great success! About 150 people came to the opening and, over the course of the exhibition, he sold ten paintings and two collages!
