Norah Solorzano is a multimedia artist telling stories through animation, puppetry, performance, and installation. Her work has been shown at venues that include SXSW, London International Animation Festival, Institute of Contemporary Art Boston, the Charles Hayden Planetarium, and on PBS. She has taught animation and creative code to students, from elementary to college age, all over the Boston, New York, and Albuquerque areas. She received her BA from Harvard University and her Masters in Interactive Media at Tisch-NYU. Norah was born in Vancouver, BC to Peruvian and Canadian parents, and grew up in Miami; Albuquerque is currently her home.
Norah came to Manship on a 2021 summer residency as part of the creative team for Brian King’s multimedia performance Medusa: Reclaimed. While at Manship she developed puppetry and digital projection elements for the piece.
