I am a writer, actor, voice-over artist and aspiring director.
I received my degree in acting from Boston University College of Fine Arts and have performed at The North Shore Music Theater, Boston Center for the Arts, Gloucester Stage, Salem Theater, Exiled Theater and Merrimack Repertory Theater. My first play But for The Grace of God debuted at the Boston Theatre Marathon. My full scale musical (book and lyrics) of Cornelia Funke’s When Santa Fell to Earth awaits licensing and production. I directed the critically acclaimed Queen of Wyoming at performances Off Broadway at 59E59 and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Locally I have directed numerous plays for the Boston Theater Marathon.
In 2019 I was asked to voice the goddess Athena in Medusa Reclaimed at The Boston Museum of Science Hayden Planetarium. I became a contributing artist on Medusa in 2021 and joined the team for three residencies at MARS.
The first night I spent at MARS, I spent alone. I won’t say that the house is haunted, that is too mundane a word. There is a charge in the atmosphere, a spark, a sense of myriad creative energies pulsing just below the surface. I felt observed by a benevolent curiosity. I felt welcomed. I felt inspired.
I returned to MARS in the spring of 2022 with my creative partners at Exiled Theatre. It felt like a homecoming. I dusted off long neglected work and was surprised to find new stories that need telling. Stay tuned.
