My imagery is rooted in the natural world: the cosmos, the richness and motion of tidal pools, geology that reveals deep time, the elucidating qualities of light.

I paint in watercolor for its translucent qualities, the ability to depict colored light.

I try to make seen what’s unseen, to harness some aspect of the rich, invisible world we exist in.

My focus at MARS is on the quarry and the night sky.
