James Wilkinson is a graduate of Trinity College (Hartford). He is co-artistic director of the Boston-based, Exiled Theatre and has directed several productions for the company including Ashes to Ashes, The Wasteland, hang, and She Looks Good in Black. As a playwright, he wrote Exiled’s productions, Strange Days: five tales concerning dark paths, odd mercies and birthday cake and Nurse Play. Nurse Play was also nominated for a 2018 Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) award for Best New Play. His short plays have been featured in the Boston Theater Marathon (2013, 2020), Salem Theatre Company’s Moments of Play, Roxbury Repertory Theatre’s Six Playwrights in Search of a Stage, Feral Theatre Company and Firehouse Fright Night Festival.
