Helena Froehlich

(she/her)

I create group and solo dances in variety of dance styles, inspired by inclusive themes of nature and human nature, and I love to collaborate with artists of other fields. Stan Strickland, musician and Berklee School of Music Associate Professor, invited me to join him during his residency at MARS. Together we created a site-specific performance including object by sculptor Ilana Isehayek: “Between Two Quarries”, a performance and inclusive exploration to honor the hollowed ground where the Manship Artists Residency is located and to share our joy in coming together. Following the performance we invited the audience to participate in a Tuning Moving Meditation workshop. I am a dancer and choreographer, faculty of the Boston Ballet school and artistic director of CreationDance company in residence at FUUSN in Newton, MA.
