Diane KW

Diane KW is a Hawaii-based ceramic artist. Prior to her art career she worked as a neurologist, epidemiologist and researcher in the USA and Switzerland. Most recently she was in the ceramics graduate program at the University of Hawaii.

KW’s work with ceramics is quite varied, from hand-carved vessels to conceptual collage transformation of ceramic shards, to alteration of found objects.

Her work may be seen in museum collections including the Cape Ann Museum (USA), the Honolulu Museum of Art (USA), the Florida Holocaust Museum (USA), the St. Petersberg Museum of Fine Art (USA), the New Orleans Museum of Art (USA), and the Groninger Museum, (Netherlands).
